This is a collaboration post with BootayBag and this is my HONEST review of their product.
If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit. – Banksy
Time to time, we all have them and some of us know them very well.
Those days when we feel like everything around us is falling apart and all we wish is run away from this everyday overwhelmed hustle and just drink tea all day long (or coffee; you name it).
Latest days were quite hard and messy for me (final exams kicked my ass a little bit). But, when the bad day hits me (sometimes unready) I always have some of my life-saving things around myself that help me to get it trough.
I call it “my survival kit”. And I use it in a case of emergency – when days are very very long and exhausting.
1. A cup of tea
I hope you are not so surprised I put the cup of tea on this list. Those of you who visit my blog a little bit often know that I wrote a lot of posts mentioning a tea in it. And it just because I think drinking tea is one of the most efficient ways to just unwind and feel good about yourself.
Actually, I drink tea on almost every occasion: when I study, when I read a book, when I watch my fav series or when I feel totally messed up.
Tips for tea lovers: I don’t know you, but I love drinking black and white tea. Recently I have a delicious Cream-Caramel tea (Rooibos has something similar here). It was like I was in seventh heaven… no really!
2. Comfy underwear
At this point, some of you ladies might be a little bit confused. Rather than leaving this uncomfy bra on our breast, we prefer to make them free as often as possible. We all know the satisfying feel of freedom. #Freedomforbreast
But maybe it’s because you haven’t found the right underwear for you yet. You know that kind of underwear that makes you feel comfy.
When I feel bad I try to make myself feel comfortable in every aspect of my life which included also my underwear (sounds weird, right?). However, I think I found the right kind for me. When BootayBag contacted me and wrote me they want to send me a pair of panties, I was quite untrusted, to be honest.
When the bag came, I was surprised how soft and comfy the panties actually are and I gave it a try. It’s all made from soft lace. So, believe me, or not, when I wear it I even don’t realise there are some panties on my body.
Now? I want to wear them every day (of course, when it wouldn’t be perverse and disgusting at the same time.)
3. A (really) good book or a blog
To be honest, this is so individual. I always read lists similar to this one and there are tips like “when you feel overwhelmed, read a book or watch a movie” etc. But I think we are all different and reading books (or other activities) when you feel down doesn’t have to be for everyone.
Anyway, I put it into my survival kit because reading gives me the opportunity to go to another world. The world where I feel good and everything is possible. Book lovers you know what I mean.
4. A cosy blanket
Recommended with a tasty tea and a good book right next to your fireplace. In my case next to my heating.
5. Cook myself something delicious
Know what they say: “Hunger is the best sauce”.
When I have one of those days when everything seems to be pretty messed up, I always try to find a way how to get out of it. And time to time, I consider cooking as a good option.
