Reflections, lessons & thoughts 2016
To be honest, a celebration of the new year has alway had a special meaning in my life. It was a sign of new beginnings, goals and moments. But on the other hand, it has the strange trace of melancholia.
However, every year I enjoy celebrating this new start with my beloved ones. You know, just appreciate those small but important moments that happened this year.
The word of the year
When I was creating my little tiny plan for 2017, I was thinking about the word that would best describe this year. It was not so hard though it was interesting to think about it.
The word that describes this year is “lesson” because it taught me so many things – so many valuable lessons. And there is the most important one.
Don’t you dare give up
2016 was a challenging year for me (and maybe for all of us). But if I took something from it then it’s definitely not to give up on anything. Not every single day is one hundred per cent. Yet when you free from giving up, you’ll understand it’s possible to get a good job, A’s in your college class or travel the world as you’ve always wanted.
Let me tell you something. I am blogging for almost four years. But until this year, I finally saw results of my effort: finally got a proper traffic, established a collaboration with an amazing brand or attract new readers.
However, it’s not only blogging but also my life. I wish you to understand it because then new opportunities will come.My thoughts, lessons & reflections on 2016 Click To Tweet
The favourite tool
This year, I found a lot of new tools that helps me both in my life and in blogging. Some of the worked and some of them not, and some of them I still use. My most favourite is…drum please…my diary.
With the beginning of 2016, there were a lot of assignments, meeting and exams and I felt like my head should blow up in a minute. And then I discovered the power of diary (& organizing).
And so I met the love of my life. I can’t imagine my life without diary now.
Psst… Are you struggling with organizing? I have a small challenge for you. We start today. Sign up here and find out more.
The biggest achievement
2016 was a very…different year but also full of things I consider as my achievements.
One of this achievement was a collaboration with an amazing brand BootayBag. It was my biggest collaboration since the beginning of my blog. Their stylish panties are so soft and easy. Don’t forget to check it out.
This year, I am quite confident, and I am going to contact a few of my favourite brand and we will see how it goes.
resolutions goals for 2017
I don’t like to use the word “resolution”. Simply just because the word resolution doesn’t sound so devotedly. On the other hand, I set goals that make me to really do that. Here are my goals for 2017.
1. Start doing yoga
I am so so bad at doing this because I never endure to the end. But I said enough, and I am going to do something for my body and soul.
2. Put more effort into blogging
There is always room to improve and I feel like I am able blogging better, more organized and with more responsibility. Speaking of organizing, I would like to try new apps (like Trello or OneNote). So, if you have some recommendations, let me know in comments.
3. Improve my English
I think you’ve noticed that English is not my native language. However, I love English and I love writing an English blog. But sometimes I feel like it can be better. So, improving my English is on my list.
Is there something you are most proud of in 2016? And what are your goals for 2017? Let me know.
