Let new adventures begin.
To be honest, I am glad that we are starting a new semester tomorrow.
Don’t get me wrong, taking a break after an exhausting examination period is a very good thing. Yet, it happens that when I spend a lot of time at the same place, I go crazy.
So yeah, I am looking forward changing the environment and get into study process again.
As a decent student (haha), I read a lot of “back to university” posts and how to actually prepare myself for a new semester. And thanks to these types of post I find out how prepared I am (or mostly I am not).
So, today just a short post on how I (don’t) prepare myself for a new semester.
1. I bought myself some school supplies
Well, actually the only thing I bought was a pen. And I tried sewing a pencil case but it was a disaster. But that’s okay. It’s a good start, right?
I usually buy supplies for studying depending on how I need them or when I find out it’s absolutely necessary to buy some of them.
Anyway, I am completely crazy about buying those highlighters, pens, books, notebooks… Stationery is my second home.
2. I set up my planner
I don’t know much about important dates yet, but a few of them already found their way into my planner.
Truth be told, I used to hate these planners and organizers because it was so annoying to keep them with me. But every student will find out that there is no was how to survive a week without a planner.
3. I didn’t print syllabuses
But it’s not my fault.
4. I didn’t organize my desk
But I cannot wait to do that. My boyfriend and I share only one desk where is not so much space, so organizing it is the priority for us.
5. I did a research on my lectures
I am a stressful person. If I don’t know what to do, I stress out and feel quite uncomfortable. So, I explored where my lectures take a place and how I get there.
It’s a very good idea. Recommend all freshmen out there.
What about you? What is your preparation process for a new semester?
