Things To Do For Myself Today #4

No one is you and that is your power. – Anonymous

Happy Wednesday!

Do you think you can live a happy life through gratitude? I do. And this is the reason why I want to dedicate today’s to-do things to showing gratitude. Probably it’s because I feel like in this world love is more needed than ever and being grateful is one of the ways how to make it better.

There are quite a few ways how to show gratitude to people you love – maybe you’re a good listener or know some funny jokes – and you can use them to make people around you feel better.

Here are things I’ve decided to do today to show more gratitude.

1| Thank someone

Nothing makes people feel better than simple “thanks”. This word has a great power to change things (and also people).

My mum has always taught me to say “thanks, please and hi” and so I did. I think sometimes we quite underestimate this word or worse we don’t use it at all.

Please (see!), thanks for everything and be polite and say please – because…it’s cool.

2| Compliment somebody

Remember how you felt when someone told you that you look amazing in this dress? It was a nice feel, right? It’s always nice when someone notices your effort you put in something.

So, what about use this day (and not only this day) to say some nice words to your friend, mum, or significant other.

3| Write a note of love

I love when somebody leaves me a lovely note with kind words. From time to time, when I leave my flat, I write a small note of love. It’s nice and it will make my boyfriend’s day.

You don’t need to create hard poems or novels. Say “thank you” or write some words of encouragement (“You can do this”).

What are you going to do for yourself today? Let me know.

Complimenting someone is so important! Especially strangers. Sometimes I think I freak people out by telling a stranger their dress is pretty, but most of the time people LOVE being complimented. It puts a smile on their face and mine.

Right? To be honest, I’m always afraid to talk to strangers and what’s more telling them compliments, but after all, it’s worth it. Thank you for stopping by, Lindsay. 🙂

Little things like this matter to everyone. 🙂 Thanks for reminding me.

Thank you, Alissa! I am glad you like it. And you’re totally right. 🙂
